PNTT Vision: To be the premiere nursing organization in the Twin Tiers

   Professional Nurses of the Twin Tiers is an independent nursing organization serving the Twin Tiers and includes southern tier New York and northern tier Pennsylvania counties who share the states’ border. Membership is open to Registered Nurses and pre-licensure student nurses living and/ or working within this geographic region.

PNTT focuses on providing the opportunity for continuing education, promoting collegiality and facilitating networking with colleagues from the many disciplines in nursing. Our Vision is to be the premier organization for professional nurses in the Twin Tiers. We plan to offer up to three continuing education programs each year.

Member benefits include eligibility for scholarship monies for education and/or research purposes, and the opportunity to network with a diverse group of nursing professionals who share the goal of achieving excellence in their nursing practice.

   PNTT Goals for 2024-2025:

• Increase awareness of PNTT within the healthcare community and the geographic region that we serve

• Network with schools of nursing and healthcare facilities in order to ascertain the educational needs of current members and be more visible to potential members of PNTT 

• Increase senior nursing student and "new-to-practice" nurse engagement to assist in transition to practice through networking and educational presentation
